Summary
Maryland legislation passed in 2019 allowing Solar Incentive programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This enables utility customers like you to sign up with local solar fields and receive a discount applied to your electric bill from the production gained from those fields.

Every Kilowatt Hour that goes out onto the grid from these solar fields is worth a certain dollar amount that your utility is REQUIRED to apply as a credit onto your electrical bill.

Here's how it works:
-We are not a supply company, we recommend you are on the Maryland Public Service Commission standard offer as our discount will be based on what the MPSC charges.

-Our solar power is released into the grid and is tracked by the Utility in the form of credits on your statement each month.

-These credits are applied to the supply and delivery portion of your electric bill monthly, before you receive your bill.

-Whatever dollar amount equal to our credits applied will be billed to you at 90% of their value, this is where you receive your guaranteed 10% savings.

-For Example: If in the month of May we apply $100 worth of credits to your BGE bill, your bill from BGE will have decreased by $100. In turn you will be billed for $90 from the solar provider, so there is a net savings of $10 for you directly.

-We look at your last 1 year of usage and set aside enough panels to hit that number. This ensures you will have the highest discount possible each month.

-You do not have to change anything about your existing utility account.

-You do not have to invest in or install any solar panels or other equipment.

-Your savings is guaranteed for 20 years.

-No cost to opt out if you change your mind.
