Create Form QR Code Explore Solutions

Tired of copy-pasting leads into your CRM? Manual exports waste time and lose valuable context. Submissions should land directly in the tools your team already uses.

That is what a Zapier webhook gives you. QRCodeChimp can post each form submission to a unique URL in Zapier, and the latter can pass it straight to HubSpot, Monday.com, Salesforce, or any other system you use. No code. No plugins. Just a clean handoff from form to pipeline.

In this guide, you will set up that handoff once and forget about it. We will enable the Invoke API in QRCodeChimp, capture the data in Zapier, and then confirm a successful end-to-end sample run. Before we start, make sure you can sign in to QRCodeChimp and Zapier, and have a live form you can use for testing. Then follow along and put your lead flow on autopilot.

How to connect Zapier webhooks with QRCodeChimp

Step 1: Configuring your form in QRCodeChimp to send data

QRCodeChimp allows you to direct form submissions to an external service in two different locations. Choose whichever location fits your workflow; both end up at the same result: turning on the Invoke API switch.

Where do you turn it on When to use it Navigation path
Account-level (Method 1) Ideal when every form in the account should push data to the same endpoint, and they don’t want to do it for each form. Dashboard → Account SettingsForm Settings, Integrations → toggle Invoke API
Individual form (Method 2) Perfect when only one specific form needs integration or when different forms must call different endpoints. Dashboard → create or edit a Form QR Code (or any QR code with a form component) → scroll to Form Integration → toggle Invoke API

Once the toggle is enabled (in either location):

1.1 Select Post, optional Headers, and the Body appear.

1.2 Leave this tab open; Zapier will provide the webhook URL that you paste into the API URL in the next section of the guide.

(Note: Add or remove key-value pairs to match your form fields.)

Step 2: Create a custom webhook in Zapier

2.1 Log in to Zapier and click Create Zap.

2.2 Select Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger app.

2.3 For Trigger Event, pick Catch Hook and click Continue.

2.4 Copy the webhook URL Zapier provides.

3.1 Paste the copied URL into the API URL in the QRCodeChimp tab.

3.2 In Body, map each field as a key-value pair, e.g.:

First Name=%%FORM.First Name%%
&Last Name=%%FORM.Last Name%%
&Email=%%FORM.Email%%
&Phone=%%FORM.Phone%%
&Enquiry=%%FORM.Enquiry%%

3.3 Click Save.

Step 4: Send test data and verify

4.1 In QRCodeChimp, go to Dashboard → QR Codes, open your Form QR Code, and click Download/Share to display the QR on screen.

4.2 On your phone, open the camera (or a QR scanner), scan the QR, and tap the link to open the live form.

4.3 Fill it with obvious test data and valid formats and submit.

4.4 Back in Zapier, click Test trigger.

4.5 Confirm Zapier displays the captured sample payload.

Where to send the leads

1. Add an Action step in Zapier

1.1 In your Zap, click + after the Webhook trigger.

1.2 Choose your CRM app (HubSpot, Monday.com, Salesforce, etc.).

1.3 Map the fields Zapier caught from QRCodeChimp to the matching CRM columns.

1.4 Test the Action to confirm a record lands in the right board, list, or object.

2. Use the CRM-specific guide

2.1 Each platform has its nuances, API tokens, custom fields, and required IDs.

2.2 Open the guide for your CRM; it starts where this article ends and links back here as Step 1.
